TAUNTON Vale Harriers held its traditional Boxing Day ‘meet’ at the Catherine Wheel, Hemyock.

The event attracted more than 300 supporters and spectators.

First whip Paul Redwood said: “A trail was laid and we held the hunt, but it rained heavily in the afternoon and we all got soaked.

“Nevertheless it was a good social day and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.”
