HEMYOCK parish church is looking forward to welcoming speaker Nikki Maxwell from Potters Village in Uganda next month.

She will be at the church on Sunday, June 10, at 11.15am after snow earlier this year prevented her from attending a previous service.

Potters Village is a child crisis and medical centre in Kisoro that offers care and new hope for abandoned and orphaned children.

St Mary’s has long supported the charity and villagers are invited to go along to the church to hear about all the work it is doing.
