TRANSITION Town Wellington is holding a foraging map walk on Saturday (July 6) from 1.30-3.30pm.

Participants will go on a guided walk to the community fruit and herb plantings around town after meeting at the entrance to the town sports centre at 1.15pm.

The walk includes fields, footpaths and roads, and finishes at Swains Lane Nature Reserve with tea and cake. Some herbs and berries may be available to pick.

The walk is free but money will be raised for Transition Town Wellington through donations and refreshments. Dogs on leads and children are welcome.
