FABULOUS 1950s fun was had by everyone at Linden House’s retro fete, which raised more than £600 for the residents’ fund.
Visitors could wander around the craft stalls, raffle, tombola, plate smash and bric-a-brac at the Wellington nursing home.
Retro games including tin-can-alley, hoopla, hook-a-duck, bat-the-rat and a coconut shy, all with sweet prizes to be won, were also on offer.
Swing group The Polka-Dot Peaches were a triumph had everyone was up dancing at some point in the afternoon, and refreshments included tea/coffee and cake, cream teas, ice cream and a milkshake bar.
