LOCAL JOB prospects have been given a boost with the announcement that a national pub and hotel chain has finalised the purchase of a site at Wellington's newest business park, Westpark 26.

And more job opportunities could be in the offing, as enquiries from potential occupiers of the park are reportedly rising.

But the good news follows confirmation that up to 60 jobs could be lost at Chelston plumbing and heating distributor Primaflow could be under threat (see story).
