Wellington’s Local Exchange Trading System (LETS) is holding its annual Christmas market on Saturday (December 2) between 10am-noon at the Friends Meeting House next to One Stop in the High Street.

Home-made jams and baked products will be for sale as well as craft items and bric-a-brac.

Visitors can also explore the peace garden at the Meeting House and have a cup of tea or coffee and cake.

LETS is a national organisation with many local groups. It is based on the idea of a barter system using a local currency – in the case of Wellington LETS, Tones.

Members of the public are welcome at the market – all goods can be purchased with pounds and pence.
