FUNDS for young Tom Disney’s trip to Madagascar have been boosted by a ladies pamper evening at the Scout Hall in Wellington.

Tom, 13, (inset) is one of ten Court Fields School students going to work in an orphanage on the island off the coast of Africa next summer.

Mum Georgina said: “Lots of ladies came along, walked up the red carpet, had a glass of wine and pamper.

“It was a relaxing night and something different for Wellington.”

The event made £462 profit towards Tom’s fundraising target of £3,800. A bingo night is planned for the Scout Hall on Friday, June 9, with doors open at 6.30pm and eyes down at 7pm.
