MORE than 37 acres of agricultural land at Tonedale which potentially could be developed is up for sale.

Stags, which is selling the land, says it includes 30 acres of Grade 1 arable land suitable for growing cereal, grass and vegetable crops, and just over five acres of pasture.

Head of farm agency George Alder said: “The land offers an enticing investment opportunity with the possibility of a future uplift in value should planning permission be secured.”

The land is for sale by informal tender with the deadline for tenders noon on February 16.
