LAND at Rockwell Green, where developers want to put up 250 new homes, was not
allocated for housing, it was reported at
the December meeting of Wellington Town Council.
Gladman Developments, of Congleton, Cheshire, advertised in the WWN last month that it was proposing to provide housing and public open space with recreational facilities on land west of Bagley Road and adjoining the A38. Local residents were invited to have their say about the plans on the company’s website.
Councillors were told that Taunton Deane planners would be in touch with the developers and would consider the application on its merits.
