APPLICATIONS for grant funding to support the arts are being invited by Taunton Deane Borough Council’s economic development team – but time is almost up to apply for the first round.

The types of projects and services that will be considered for funding in the Arts and Events Grant scheme include services that enhance participation in the arts in rural communities, services aimed at encouraging participation in the arts among young people and other disadvantaged groups, and services that encourage and support creative businesses locally.

Applications are being invited in two rounds during the 2016/17 year. The closing date for the first round is Friday and the closing date for round two is Wednesday, November 30.
