PEOPLE in the Wellington area who want to learn more about dementia and creating a dementia-friendly community can do so at an information session at Nynehead Court.

Nynehead Court provides care for people living with the condition in its Mulberry Wing and director Alyson Martin has recently trained as an Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends Champion.

She is holding a free information session in the home’s Orangery on Thursday, May 19, from 2.30-3.30pm. The event coincides with Dementia Awareness Week (May 15-21) and refreshments will be available afterwards.
