Children in Years 5 and 6 at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington have spent a day at Wildwood Escott learning about the lives of the Anglo-Saxons.
The youngsters had hands-on experience of wood-turning with a hand-made treadle lathe, bread-making in a stone stove and blacksmithing. They also enjoyed problem solving the maze and learning about the animals.
