WELLINGTON Library will be playing host to the next sessions of the new groups set up with help from the Wellington Library Friends Group.
Next week, on Monday, April 11, the Library Reading Group meets at 4pm. New members will be welcome
Also on the 11th there is the start of another new course, which comes as a result of the success of the Tablet/I-pad taster day held earlier in the year. This is for those of us who have an I-Pad or tablet which they do not know how to use properly. Do you want to learn how to send an e-mail, search the internet safely or use the camera? If so this course is for you! These courses on the I-Pad or tablet, to help you make the most of your device, are free, and will run over 5-6 weeks. Pop in to sign up for the first session which is being held on Monday, April 11, between 9.45 am and 11.15 am. As spaces are limited, it is planned to repeat the sessions again in about six weeks time.
Finally to end a busy month Saturday, April 30, will see the Library playing its part in the Shakespeare 400 celebrations with readings from some of his plays. And you can take part too!! Come and find out.
