STUDENTS in Year 11 at Court Fields School in Wellington will be learning new skills and gaining life experience through the National Citizenship Service (NCS) this summer.

The school is one of only two in Somerset to have been awarded ‘Champion’ status by the NCS.

The three-week programme takes place during the school holidays. Students will go on two residentials away from home which will include a range of outdoor activities. They will also be given time to develop new skills while learning more about their communities and how they can make a difference through social action projects.
