Abbeyfield’s Ivy House in Corams Lane, Wellington, raised a whopping £220 when it held its Macmillan coffee morning.

House manager Alisha Cordy arranged a small raffle and made three huge Victoria sponges to raise money.

A very small number of residents enjoyed tea and cake in the lounge, and Alisha delivered a slice of cake to the other residents in their flats.

Alisha was amazed at how generous the residents were and thanks every one of them who gave so generously.
