MAYOR of Taunton Deane Cllr Catherine Herbert has visited Wiveliscombe Community Office staff and volunteers, travelling in a Wivey Link car, to see how it all works.  

Pauline Homeshaw, chairman of the partnership which manages the office and the Wivey Link Community Transport scheme, said: "It was a pleasure to have the mayor with us here in Wivey - it always makes such a difference when people can see the work we do and how we operate our cars and our office."  

The mayor will next visit Wiveliscombe on Sunday, September 9, when she will be a guest of the 10 Parishes Street Market and Carnival.
