CIDER-MAKER Sheppy’s at Bradford-on-Tone has won more awards.

The company won Best Craft Cider Producers in South-West England in the third annual Food & Drink Awards and highly commended in the cider category of the Great British Food Awards 2018 for Sheppy’s Reserve Vintage Cider.

The Great British Food judge said: “Glory in a glass. Quality fruit framed with a subtle oak structure, this is a skilful and satisfying cider – right through from floral and zesty finesse to a surreptitiously deep savoury strata.”

The awards follow scooping three stars this summer in the Great Taste Awards 2018 – two stars for Sheppy’s 200 Special Edition and one star for Sheppy’s Original Cloudy cider.
