The Wellington Basins Group organised its annual duck race at the Basins.

The event started with a rousing performance by Wellington Majorettes who entertained with music and marching. More than 100 people took part in the duck races started by out-going Mayor of Wellington Cllr Gary James. Four heats led up to the grand final.
