MORE than 220 children and accompanying adults attended the third Wacky Wednesday Community event of the summer – the Cades Country Fair in Wellington.

The events are organised through Wellington One Team with a number of partner agencies providing crafts, games, treasure hunts, crèche area, barbecue, and refreshments. Local entertainer Chaz was also there to entertain.

The agencies include Reminiscence Learning, Court Fields Preschool, Churches Together, Everyone Active, town and district councils, St John Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Getset and Livewest Housing Association.

In addition Court Fields School sports leaders volunteer their help over the summer.
