A GRANT of £750 for Wellington Museum and Local History Society was approved by Wellington Town Council at its May meeting.

The society pays the town council £1,000 for the rent of the museum premises in Fore Street.

Cllr Andrew Govier said the society provided an excellent service and that the museum attracted many visitors.
