POLICE are to mount a renewed blitz on Wellington's underage boozers.
Increased police patrols are being planned in the Wellington and Wiveliscombe areas in a bid to tackle teen drinking to coincide with the end of the school term and the start of summer.
The alcohol sweeps will see officers patrolling parks and other open spaces towards the end of June and early July to identify underage drinkers and educate them about how they are putting themselves and others in danger.
