A charity aimed at providing activities and fellowship for people who feel lonely or isolated is opening its doors in the Wellington and Wiveliscombe areas.
Reminiscence Learning is offering a series of free sessions featuring 'flexercise' and singing, reminiscence, and the chance to travel to distant lands without leaving your armchair.
Organiser Fiona Mahoney said: "We use a large screen to project images of other countries, and have representative costumes, food and drink on hand."
The next session takes place on February 20 at Lodge Close, Wellington, when an armchair trip to New Zealand is on offer.
Ring Fiona on 01823 431257 for more information.
See the WWN Week Ahead events diary for future sessions.
