FEARS that Wellington's new supermarket could remain closed for the foreseeable future were fuelled yeaterday, Tuesday, when the front of the shop was boarded up.

Workmen arrived on site yesterday morning to erect wooden sheets on the glass frontage.

The more reinforces fears that the shop could remain empty for the rest of the year.
