THE Repair Café will be running at the Baptist Church Hall in South Street, Wellington, on Saturday (August 17).

The repairers include: electrical, bikes, clothing/textiles, computers, furniture, jewellery, garden tools and tool-sharpening. The event, which runs from 10am-noon, also has a new repairer who can mend clocks and watches.

To date the busiest repairers have been the electricians, the tool-sharpener and the needlework specialists.

Altogether, in the three Repair Cafes so far held in Wellington, 110 items have been given a new lease of life.

The international Repair Cafe movement celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
