A NEW cycle path has been opened at Nynehead Jubilee Playing Field.

The path, constructed by Stoneworx South West, provides a safe place for children and young people from the village and further afield to ride their bikes and scooters. Sunny summer days saw children of all ages whizzing around the track, making the most of the new facility, as well as visits from other members of the community looking for a sound walking or jogging surface.  

The management committee would like to thank the funding organisations –  Viridor Credits,  The Somerset West Lottery,  The Taunton Youth & Community Centre Fund,  Somerset Crimebeat Trust,  Taunton Deane Borough Council and  Avon and Somerset Police Community Trust.
