THE Globe Inn at Appley is under new management and now has a new pub sign.

Signwriter Brian Gay from Bridgwater spent a day producing the sign which replaces one he created nine years ago. Pub owner John Lambley said: “The man’s a legend.”

Naomi Warren took over as tenant of the pub in mid-June with Mark Ensell as chef. They are planning a Summer Festival at the pub on Saturday, August 26, with live music in the beer garden, barbecue and family entertainment.
