NYNEHEAD Court is taking part in the NGS Open Gardens Scheme at the start of next month in its second NGS event of the year.
The home, which has 13 acres of parkland open to the public and tended by professional gardeners, has taken part in the NGS scheme for many years. Visitors to the event on Sunday, July 2, will be able to see the Sweet Chestnut and Tulip trees in flower; the Mulberry tree in fruit; and the bedding plants and roses in full bloom.
The grounds are open 2-4.30pm – entrance £5, children free – and head gardener Justin Cole is conducting a tour of the gardens at 2pm.
Home manager Angela Watkins said, “Nynehead Court is always delighted to be part of the Open Gardens Scheme, and we hope our visitors enjoy seeing our grounds in full bloom.”
