ED Ling, in his third Olympics, won bronze in the men’s trap shooting event at the Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil, on Monday night.
The 33-year-old Nynehead farmer was involved in a shootout with the experienced David Kostelecky, of the Czech Rep and won 13-9 despite missing his first target.
Ling was in joint second place after Day One of the trap event.
His immediate thoughts after winning bronze was booking a flight home to start harvesting.
The winner of the gold was Croatian Josip Glanovic.
