The manager of the One Stop store in Wellington High Street, Ruth Hawkins, has presented Court Fields Pre-School with a cheque for £400.

The money was raised over the past few months through a draw and collection pot.

Ruth, whose grandson Jasper Chapman attends the pre-school in Mantle Street, has supported Court Fields over the past few years.

One Stop has also given chocolate eggs towards this year’s Superhero Easter egg hunt.

Pre-school manager Sheryl Higgs said: “We are so grateful to Ruth and will be using the money to support children’s understanding of the world.”
