AS part of its commemoration of the centenary of the end of the Great War, Wellington Town Council commissioned a plaque to mark the event.

The plaque was recently installed at a small ceremony at Wellington Park attended by the Mayor and councillors and now sits proudly in the centre of the arch over the main entrance.
