WELLINGTON producers have taken top regional food awards.
Popular butchers Tim Potter Son & Daughter has been crowned the South West's best when it comes to producing pasties after their Pork and Apple Pasty was picked Overall Champion of the South West.
The Potters scooped six of the ten titles on offer at the BPEX Pork Product Excellence Awards in Exeter last week, where they were up against producers from across the region who submitted more than 130 products for judging across ten categories.
A delighted Tim Potter said: "I really can't believe it. This is by far the best result we've ever had."

The Chelston Business Park, Wellington-based brewery was honoured at a ceremony at the Eden Project, Cornwall in front of an audience of more than 200 food and drink producers, foodies and local businesses.
