I have just nearly been knocked down by a teenage cyclist riding on the pavement. It is the second time this week that this has happened – it happens with annoying regularity.

What authority has given teenage and adult cyclists the right to ride on the pavement to the detriment of pedestrians. Sooner or later someone is going to be badly injured – I just hope it is not me.

Numerous signs about the town warn cyclists not to ride on the pavement but they choose to ignore them. What are the police doing – don’t they care. It is their responsibility to enforce the law, that is what we pay Council Tax for. These stupid people riding on the pavement should be brought to account. Why do they do it, why?.
