POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Milverton.

The driver, an 86-year-old man, was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, but died later.
Police cordoned off the area to allow a detailed examination of the scene by officers from the road policing unit's collision investigation unit.
They would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their enquiries.
