THE petanque group at Wellington and District University of the Third Age, which plays at the Basins, is looking for new players.

The group, convened by Mike Crew, says that at times it has had as many as 11 players and occasionally just two. He says it is a game almost everyone can play and it is free as the nearby sports centre supplies the boules.
