PHOTOGRAPHS by members of Wellington & District Camera Club have gone on display in the town.
Sixteen members are exhibiting 33 pictures at The Cheese and Wine Shop in South Street. The photos range from traditional and local landscapes to wildlife images and creative pictures.
Club secretary Peter Elliston said: “Following the club’s successful exhibition at the Brewhouse, Taunton, at the end of last year, it was really important to find somewhere local to show our work. The Cheese and Wine Shop has a great display space and a very friendly ambience.”
The exhibition will run for about a month and copies of the images can be ordered at the shop. The price is £20 for an unmounted copy and £25 for a mounted copy.
Shop owner Clare de Ruyter said: “We are pleased to give a showcase to local talent and are amazed at the quality and variety of pictures.”
Peter added that Wellington Camera Club was very friendly and welcomed photographers of all abilities. It was hoped the exhibition would encourage more people to join.
