PLANNERS have given permission for an extension to be built at a home in Foxdown Gardens in Wellington.

Applicant Mr Yates was given the go-ahead last week by Wellington Town Council’s planning committee to build a single-storey front extension and a rear dormer at a property in Foxdown Gardens off Foxdown Hill.

Planning officer Bryn Kitching said the size of the dormer was ‘not ideal’ but ‘acceptable on balance’.
