Councillors in Wellington voted to support the erection of a single-storey extension at the back of Unit 5E at Lowmoor Industrial Estate, Tonedale, at their latest planning meeting.

But concerns were expressed over potential noise pollution to neighbouring housing. Concerns were also voiced over the loss of two parking spaces to create the extension which may impact roadside parking and road safety.

Somerset West and Taunton Council will decide on the application.
