THE Wellington Poppy Appeal launch concert will be held on Friday evening at Wellington School.

The event will feature Wellington Silver Band, the Somerset Hills Chorus and Wellington School sixth-form music scholar Esta Felix.

The concert gets under way at 7.30pm and tickets priced £6 are available from Odette’s tea room and Porter Dodson in High Street, and Beech Hill Stores, all in Wellington.
