THE latest winner of the Wellington Pet of the Month competition, run by Co-op Funeralcare and the WWN, is Poppy, owned by Philip Sydenham, of Brooks Place, High Street, Wellington.

Philip said: “Poppy is well liked all over the High Street and makes friends with everybody going into shops.”

Poppy won a goody bag, including a strong limited edition ‘Proud to be Wellington Pet of the Month’ cotton eco-shopping bag, certificate and rosette.
