Keen and noisy rugby fan Tony Walkers was keeping quiet on a pub crawl through Wellington.

Tony was holding a sponsored silence to raise money for Breast Cancer UK and CoppaFeel, and made £300 for each charity.

The event had been planned to coincide with an afternoon of Six Nations rugby matches but all the fixtures were called off because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Tony visited the Barley Mow in Rockwell Green, and Green Dragon, Cottage Inn and Rugby Club in Wellington.

His wife Chris joined him selling ‘Booby Bunny’ badges and toys.

The couple, who live in Rockwell Green, were raising money for breast cancer causes as a young family member suffered the disease.
