Looking back on the year, manager Sheryl Higgs said the pre-school’s new motto is ‘Trying is Learning’ and the team had tried new approaches, learned a lot and would continue to look forward and grow – and parents had given positive feedback.
She added: “We want to thank everyone who has helped us on this journey over the past year. A massive thank you to Court Fields School, staff and students for their support and involvement this year, and our committee and parents for working in partnership with us transforming the setting visually and in practice our approach to children’s learning.
“So many professionals have offered support and advice this year including the Wellington Get Set service and Early Years improvement team, based in Taunton, to help us improve and move forward. Thank you to everyone, including the Wellington Weekly for all the positive press and getting us established in our community.”
