Promises of food and drink, gardening, floral arrangements, day trips, family history research, accommodation in a camping barn and vouchers were among the goods on offer and were soon snapped up with a number of lots attracting competitive bidding.
Coffee, tea and wine, along with light refreshments, were then enjoyed by everyone.
