PUPILS at Churchstanton Primary School spent a fun-filled magical evening celebrating everything that is Harry Potter.

Rise in hospital admissions for stress and anxiety in SomersetMrs N Tildesley – aka Professor McGonagall – and Mr S Turner – aka Hagrid – planned an evening based around the books of Harry Potter author J K Rowling.
The children were sorted into houses by the sorting hat, and enjoyed wand-making and a Niffler treasure hunt around the school forest.
Magical Menagerie charades ended the evening before magical-themed refreshments including, of course, Butter Beer!
One pupil said: “I had so much fun!” while another said: “My favourite thing was the treasure hunt and solving clues.”
A school spokesman said: “Huge thanks to the staff for giving up their time and energy to organise the evening.”
