ENTRIES were up on last year at Wellington Flower Show at Wellington School on Saturday.

Despite some damp weather in the run-up to the show, gardeners rose to the challenge and produced wonderful fruit, flowers and vegetables.

Entries in the Championship classes reached a record high and the quality of the exhibits was excellent.
