TWO Court Fields, Wellington, students are holding a quiz evening to help fund their trip to Madagascar next summer.

Sophie Read and Chloe Walters are two of the ten students travelling to the island in the Indian Ocean next July to work in the community. Each pupil has to raise £3,800 to take part.

The quiz is in the Court Fields school hall on Friday (September 15) – doors open at 6.45pm with the quiz at 7pm. Entry is £2 per person and quiz-goers can enter as an individual or as a team (maximum six in a team). Tea/coffee and home-made cakes will be on offer, along with a raffle.

The Madagascar 10 have lots of events planned before the visit including a repeat of their successful bingo evening on Friday, October 6, and a craft fair on Saturday, November 11.
