LOCAL radio star Barry Somers is coming to Wellington to talk about Community Interest Companies (CICs) and the success of community radio station 10Radio, based in Wiveliscombe.

Barry hosts ‘Rock and a Hard Place’ and is the co-host of the ‘Barry and Dr Colin Show’, as well as editing other shows and managing the outside broadcast truck ‘Alice’. It promises to be a lively talk about 10Radio and Community Interest Companies.

Pete Watts, the new chairman of the business association, will also talk about his involvement with Community Interest Company, Point Three.

The meeting is today (Wednesday, October 18) in the meeting room at the Dolphin Pub, Waterloo Road, Wellington and starts at 6.30pm.

The event is open to everyone – members and non-members welcome.
