The Inner Wheel Club of Wellington hosted a lunch at Oake Manor Golf Club for Inner Wheel clubs from across Somerset and Dorset.

The speaker was Claire Carter, who presents the early morning radio programme on BBC Somerset.

Guests were entertained with stories of Claire’s life in broadcasting and her participation in BBC Children in Need fundraising events, including the Great Wellington Walk when she walked 75 miles across the county in just five days wearing wellington boots.
