MEMBERS of Wellington and Taunton Tangent Clubs hosted the Tangent annual South-West regional luncheon at Somerset County Cricket Club.

The guest speaker, natural history film maker Jonathan Smith, gave a captivating insight into his work as a producer on the BBC series Blue Planet 2.

Tangent is aimed at women over the age of 45 with a focus on making friends and enjoying a programme of fun activities, and may also support local and national charities.

On this occasion Rita Sanders of Wellington Tangent club organised a raffle which raised £1,520 in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
