THE children of key workers have been having an enjoyable time at Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington during the coronavirus lockdown.

Headteacher Mrs Wilkins said: “The school staff have been absolutely amazing at organising different and varied activities for the children – especially during the Easter holiday period.

“I would like to thank them all for their hard work and dedication during these difficult times.”

Some of the children made a banner on Monday to thank key workers and remind people about staying safe.

Mrs Wilkins added: “On behalf of everyone at Wellesley Park Primary School we would like to thank all of the key workers for doing such a fantastic job keeping us all safe and provided for.”
