Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am December 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 10pm November 27 to 6am November 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 25 to 26 lane closures for electrical works.
• M5, from 8pm November 28 to 5am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 to junction 25 lane closures for drainage.
• M5, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 exit slip road closure for resurfacing, diversion via M5 northbound to junction 25 and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
